Our mission

Mpaji Ni Mungu is a self-help group made up of refugee youth and members of the local host community.
We come from across the Great Lakes region of Africa — including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, and others.

We are united by faith, hope, and the belief that God is the true Giver.

What We Stand For

1. Unity Across Borders
We are refugees and locals, youth from different nations — but we walk as one family.

2. Support in Hardship
We stand together in prayer, mutual help, and community healing.

3. Keeping Identity Alive
We celebrate our diverse cultures and languages — including E’bembe — as our strength.

4. Empowering Young People
We focus on learning, peace-building, mental well-being, and dignity for every member.

5. Honoring God, the Giver
In all we do, we hold on to our shared truth: Mpaji ni MunguMungu I’wik. God is the one who provides.
